Palliative Care Trial Finally Commencing in Orange
The long awaited 12-month trial commenced on 25 March.
The four-bed service, provided at Uniting’s Parkwood facility in Prince Street, is available to Orange Health Service patients.
Jenny Hazelton, President of Orange Push for Palliative, said: “I’m really thrilled that at last we have a really wonderful option for end-of-life care and we will continue advocating. We are not done yet.”
